Lauren O’Donovan is a writer from Cork, Ireland. In 2023, she won the Patrick Kavanagh Award, the Cúirt New Writing Prize in Poetry, and placed 2nd for the Southword Flash Fiction Competition. Also in 2023, Lauren’s work was shortlisted or came runner-up for Listowel Writers’ Week Collection Award, Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet Competition, the Fish Memoir Prize, the Fool For Poetry Chapbook Competition, and the Fish Poetry Prize. She is fortunate to have her work published often in journals and anthologies. Lauren is a graduate of UCC, co-founder of Lime Square Poets, and an editor at HOWL New Irish Writing.
