Geraldine Osborne has travelled to remote, untouched parts of our planet making remarkable journeys. From months spent traversing the uninhabited Chilean Altiplano with her artist husband, Danny, and seven llamas, to crossing the sea ice by dog team in the High Arctic with her young children, and later working with Danny on active volcanoes in Guatemala and Hawaii. Each journey a shared exploration recorded in writings, photographs, and film. Now retired from her professional life as a medical doctor, she lives on the Beara Peninsula. Somewhere Cold is her debut book.
