As an author, my journey has been marked by the challenges of reading and writing, profoundly impacting my academic and professional endeavours. Despite receiving some support in school, these difficulties influenced my decision to forego higher education.
I concealed my struggles, avoiding roles requiring extensive literary engagement until a serendipitous encounter with a spider at 20 inspired my creativity, prompting me to write my first story. Despite initial embarrassment, my passion for storytelling remained hidden until a pivotal dyslexia diagnosis at age 29 provided newfound clarity and alternative learning paths.
Motivated by an unwavering commitment to self-improvement, I embarked on a journey of self-education, completing a Creative Writing course at Maynooth University in 2013, followed by studies in Gothic Literature at Manchester Metropolitan University and Self-Publishing in 2016.
Today, I am dedicated to developing my literary works, and my children’s series “The Boogie Series,” as I fervently pursue the art of storytelling.
