Leona Forde was born in Cork city and now lives in Bandon. She studied English and History at University College, Cork, and now teaches the same subjects to teenagers. She is Mammy to four crazy kids, owner of two rowdy rabbits and a house that is never, ever tidy. Milly McCarthy is a complete catastrophe, is the first book in the Milly McCarthy series, aimed at readers aged 7 to 12.
