Mikkel Bugge (born 1978) is an author and playwright. He made his debut with the critically acclaimed short story collection Perimeters in 2007. His first novel Go Under Ground was published in 2010, and was nominated for the P2 Listeners’ Novel Prize and the Young Readers’ Critics’ Award. Bugge was awarded the Havmann Prize in 2011. His short story collection The Rope appeared in 2014 and was praised for its inventive approach to the short story. The book was shortlisted for the national Brage Award. Several of Bugge’s stories have appeared in anthologies and literary journals abroad.
