Robyn Rowland is an Irish-Australian dual-citizen, living part-time in Connemara. She has written twelve books of poetry, including her most recent Line of Drift (Doire Press) and This Intimate War Gallipoli/Çanakkale 1915 (Five Islands Press & Bilge Kultur Sanat). Robyn’s poetry appears in national and international literary journals, as well as in over forty anthologies, including eight editions of Best Australian Poems since 2004, and Being Human (Bloodaxe Books, 2011). Her work has been awarded a number of prizes and has been featured on Australian and Irish national radio programs. She has also read internationally in Turkey, Bosnia, Serbia, India, Greece, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Australia and a number of other European countries.
