Anna McQuinn has worked as an editor, writer and publisher of children’s books in the UK for almost 30 years.  She has been a champion of inclusion since she began working in the area – she has been on the board of The Working Group Against Racism in Children’s Resources for almost 10 years and the board of IBBY UK for five.  Anna’s books have also been translated into Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Brazilian, Portuguese, French, Italian, Mandarin, Chinese and Korean.  She is currently the publisher at her own tiny independent list, Alanna Books.
