Cork City Libraries’ Teen Day 2018, organised by our Teen Committee, includes writing workshops, quizzes, cardboard cosplay, board games, an open mic and much more. How to Write a Novel-An Introduction
So, you want to write a book but have no idea how to begin? Or you’ve started a novel and can’t get past the first few chapters? Join award-winning author E.R. Murray as she delves into the world of novel writing. Topics covered will include; where ideas come from and how they evolve into a story, writing what we know vs. making it up, how to create believable characters and gripping settings, and how to get started and keep going. Elizabeth will also read extracts from her work and answer your questions about your writing.
